Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions: data and privacy
Who sees which details, what is in emails, how do you make a privacy request?
Pflege Patienten arranges care without the names and addresses of patients appearing in the portal. Here are the most frequent questions about this.
Who sees the details of a case or a request?
Matching care providers in the region see the details of the care needed – without names and without address. The portal only passes on contact details once an offer has been selected.
Does the portal store the names of patients?
No. The portal does not ask for names, addresses, dates of birth or insurance numbers. If it detects such details in a free text, it points this out and only saves after you have checked. Names and addresses are exchanged directly between the referring party and the care provider after the selection.
What is in the emails from the portal?
No names and no addresses. Emails tell you that there is news and lead you into the portal with a link; you only see the details after signing in.
Can the operator see the details of a case?
Only with a documented reason, for example a support request, a privacy request, an error analysis or a legal obligation. Every access is logged with case number, time and reason; the log is kept for a limited period and then deleted. Organisations see these accesses under Settings → Operator access log – the page is open to the role “Audit/IT” and to the administrators.
How do I make a privacy request?
You request information, deletion or the revocation of a consent from the operator; the operator responds within the statutory deadlines. How it works: Privacy requests.
